Will my insurance pay for diabetic shoes?

Medicare and Medicaid are the only insurance companies that will pay for diabetic shoes once every 365 days.

How often can I get a new Blood Glucose Meter?

Medicare will only pay for a new meter every 5 years. Medicaid will pay for a new meter every 3 years.

How often can I replace my cane, walker or wheelchair?

Medicare will only replace a cane, walker or wheelchair every 5 years. Medicaid will replace a cane, walker or wheelchair every 3 years.

Will you deliver my medications to me?

We do have city wide delivery, Monday-Friday.

Do you have someone that can consult with me on my diabetes?

I have a problem with remembering to take my medication and reordering when I run out. Can you help me?

We offer a program called My Dose Alert. You can receive a text message, a phone call, or email to remind you to either take your medication, or reorder your medication.

I have trouble with filling my medication box, is this something that you can help me with?

Yes, we fill medication boxes monthly for anyone that requests this service for a small fee.

Are pharmacists available to consult with me about my medication?

Yes, our pharmacist is available anytime to consult about any concerns you may have about your medication.
